Although the whole book of Proverbs is instruction for children, it also contains practical instruction for parents about how to raise their children wisely.
The Proverbs are both idealistic and realistic about marriage, showing us how it should be and helping us to get there.
To those who try to impose their own rules on all Christians we should just say “No!”
